Opaque Adhesive – 8 mil material –

Made using an Opaque Adhesive material that is 8 mil in thickness, these Opaque Window Decals are printed with UV inks. It can be used for printing on both sides as the opaque feature of the material allows excellent blockout of the design on the other side!

Easy installation inside or outside –

Installing Opaque Window Decals is very easy and doesn’t take too much time to apply or remove.

• Clean the window you want to install the decal on with water and soap and a non-abrasive cloth or soft squeegee.
• Carefully remove the backing the decal comes with.
• Starting at the top, slowly and lightly press it against the window, moving in a methodical manner. This reduces the chances of any bubbles forming during application. Firmly press the decal to the window when applied.
• You can also use the squeegee to run over the decal after installation and remove any bubbles under.
• Remember that no water or liquid should be used during the decal installation process.

Will any part of my Decal be transparent?

Opaque Window Decals come with great blockout coverage as the material is white by default. This means that no part of the Decal will be clear or transparent, so if you need that feature you can have a look at our Clear Window Decals and Clear Window Clings.

When two-sided printed, which side of the Decal has the adhesive?

When you only get single side printing done, the adhesive side is on the other side but when getting double-side printing done, the file labeled ‘back’ will have the adhesive side.

What is the best way to clean Opaque Window Decals?

Since decals can be applied outside, they need some amount of cleaning from time to time. The easiest way to do this is by using a soft, non-abrasive damp cloth and cleaning the decals by gently wiping them. Do not apply too much pressure or scrub harshly as that may ruin the surface or cause them to peel.

How can I safely remove the decal from the window?

Removing the Decals is as easy as applying them! You can peel them off by using a flat surface that doesn’t scratch the window itself and scrape the decals right off the surface. Another way to make the removal easy is by heating the decal with a hairdryer that will loosen the adhesive. Any residual adhesive on the window can be wiped down with a glass cleaner and cloth.
