How long do wall decals last?

Our Repositionable Wall Decals at Print Magic are long-lasting when used and maintained well. With proper care, they can be used for about 5 years.

On what surfaces can these wall decals be stuck easily?

Repositionable Wall Decals are made for inside use and using them outdoors can result in a short lifespan. The best surface to apply these is on smooth, non-porous walls that aren’t textured. Apart from walls, they also work on glass, plastic, acrylic, metal, tiles, and mirrors. Using them on porous surfaces will reduce the adhesive quality as the air in between the gaps can weaken its sticking ability.

Is the adhesive used on wall decals toxic in any way?

The adhesive used on our wall decals is water-based and there are no solvents used, making them non-toxic. Though, it is advised that these decals be kept away from young children and pets as the adhesive should not be accidentally eaten or inhaled in any way.

Can these decals be stuck on any kind of wall paint?

These wall decals work best on most popularly used latex and oil-based paints. It is best to avoid paints that have additives because that can reduce the decal’s adhesive properties. In general, matte finish paints are better to use than glossy ones.

What happens if you write on the decals with a dry erase marker?

Our Repositionable Wall Decals cannot be written on as the marker will result in permanent marks and cannot be cleaned off, damaging the wall decal.

Can I apply wall decals on wallpaper?

Technically, yes. These decals can be applied on wallpaper that is smooth and not textured. But keep in mind that there is a chance of the wallpaper coming off as well when you remove the decal, thus we only recommend using them on plain walls.
