The pearl effect is strongest where the paper can show through. Here’s how ink coverage changes what you see.

Quick Tips
- Leave breathing room. Open areas are where pearl shines.
- Keep small text dark (at least 7–8 pt) so it reads clearly on the shimmer.
- Frame dark photos with lighter borders instead of running them edge to edge.
- Do the tilt test on your proof: if most of the piece is heavy ink, there’s less pearl left to see.
