  • Paper has a smoother printing surface as it is coated on two sides at manufacturing stage.
  • Combine with UV coating, Gloss, Matte finishing options to get the desied result.

  • 16 pt. C2S Premium Cardstock is thicker than 14 pt. C2S paper.

  • This paper is water-resistant with a smooth, bright white, resin coated.

  • 18PT C1S is a thicker stock, with paper coated on 1 side for a smooth finish. The other side is not coated. so has a slight texture.
  • Coated paper allows the ink to rest on top of the paper, providing more vibrant colors
  • The uncoated side of the paper will allow the ink to absorb into the paper resulting in slightly duller colors
  • The uncoated side of the paper is writable with pens, pencils and markers

Matte Coating
  • Roymal’s matte finish coating is designed to stick to a wide variety of paper, films and foil including nylon, PET and OPP
  • The typical gloss ranges are 5-20° at a 60° angle
  • Good rub/mar resistance and can be formulated with excellent chemical resistance
  • Can be printed using the traditional printing processes including rotogravure, rod, offset and flexographic printing

  • Clear, fast-drying water- based
  • Used to protect printed pieces
  • High-gloss or matte surface that deters dirt and fingerprints
  • Improves the durability of postcards and other printed pieces as they go through the mail
  • Protects business cards as they are carried in peoples’ wallets
  • Looks beautiful on brochures, catalog covers, and presentation folders
  • Aqueous coatings provide more substantial scuff-resistance than varnishes
  • Typically applied to the entire printed piece, usually by the last unit on a printing press
  • Due to its water base, aqueous coating is more environmentally friendly than varnish or UV coatings

Do you offer drill holes for tassels and ribbons?

Yes. Choose between a 1/8" or 1/4" drill hole at checkout. The 1/4" hole accommodates thicker ribbon or decorative cord. Please note: strings and tassels are not included and must be sourced separately.

Are custom sizes and quantities available for custom bookmarks?

Yes, we offer custom sizes and quantities. You can simply submit a request on our Custom Printing page and our team will reach out to you.

What file specs should I use for my artwork?
  • Format: PDF, AI, PSD, or INDD
  • Resolution: 300 DPI
  • Color Mode: CMYK. RGB files will be converted and colors may shift
  • Bleed: 0.125" on all sides for edge-to-edge designs
  • Safe Zone: Keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line
Can I get my bookmarks designed professionally?

Yes. PrintMagic's in-house design service can be added directly to your order. Options include 1 concept with 3 revisions, 2 concepts with 4 revisions, or 3 concepts with 5 revisions. Submit your logo, copy, and brand colors and the team handles the rest.

Can I write on my bookmarks after printing?

Yes, if you choose the right stock. For writable bookmarks, select 14 pt. Uncoated or add Satin Aqueous Coating to your order. Both accept pens, pencils, and markers cleanly. UV and standard gloss finishes repel ink and are not suitable for writing.

Standard Cardstock 14 pt. C2S A widely used premiun paper stock that has a high gloss UV coating giving it an extra shine & protection from damage.
Premium Cardstock 16 pt. C2S Paper stock with a high gloss finish helping “pop” up the images making it perfect choice for printing photos. It also is water-resistant.
Standard Uncoated 14 pt. Slightly lighter than the Standard Cardstock – 14 pt. C2S paper stock, this paper stock gives you a textured & natural paper feel. Suitable to write on with pens, pencils, and markers.
Thick Cardstock 18 pt. C1S The thickest paper stock that allows the ink to rest on top of the paper providing more vibrant colors.
Uncoated Cover Linen A rich coated linen paper stock with a feel of the linen fabric.
Standard Gloss Cover – 100 lb. This shiny and lustrous coated paper stock is a thicker and heavier paper stock with a smooth gloss finish like the glossy photographs.
