Understanding different coating options

You have the option of choosing an added layer in the form of a coating when you Order Club Flyers from us. Pick from UV, Matte, or Aqueous coating depending on your budget and use. If you choose UV coating for Club Flyer Printing, you also get the option of adding it just to the front or the back as well.

UV:

• Ultra shiny gloss coating that is often referred to as liquid lamination, that’s cured under ultraviolet light.
• Stunning, vibrant, and almost wet appearing look that makes your design and colors pop.
• Chemical and abrasion-resistant coating.
• Adds durability to the paper and provides a high-end look to the product.

Matte:

• A light coating that boosts color contrast and reduced glare from the sun or light.
• Due to the subtle and softer appearance of colors and non-gloss finish, the paper doesn’t get any fingerprints on it.
• Great for enhancing visual designs and printing.
• It is a writable surface on which ink does not spread, so you can easily add small handwritten notes on the Sales Sheets.

Aqueous:

• A beautiful shiny surface that looks attractive and provides a premium look.
• Coating deters dirt, dust, and fingerprints.
• Adds more durability to the paper and makes it long-lasting.
• The high-gloss coating is durable and protects the printed products.

Aqueous and Satin Aqueous Coating: These clear, fast-drying water-based polymers or coatings are more environmentally friendly than varnishes or UV-coating counterparts. They support additional imprinting allowing variable data to be printed after their application. The aqueous coating is a semi-gloss coating applied to the front of the printed piece for additional protection and a glossy look, while it allows being written on using a ballpoint pen. Aqueous coating is best suited for postcards – Addresses which could be variable data. While both coatings are similar in functions the “Satin coating” is more like a Matte finish or reduced gloss and also supports writing with a ballpoint pen.

Understanding Different Paper Stocks

We offer several paper stock options from small to large size options ranging from 4″x6″ to 6″x11″ that you can choose depending on your budget and requirements. Each has its distinct qualities and varying levels of sheen and writability.

• Standard Cardstock – 14 pt. C2S: Glossy paper has an excellent opaque base that is perfect for rich color printing.
• Premium Cardstock – 16 pt. C2S: High-gloss and shiny look that provides a luxurious feel to the design.
• Standard Uncoated – 14 pt.: Most writable paper stock and is also an affordable option for printing.
• Thick Cardstock – 18 pt. C1S: Glossy paper that is thicker than standard and provides more durability to the product.
• 100 lb Standard Gloss Cover: A shiny paper stock that is a popular choice for postcards. Sturdy in feel and thick stock which is good for durability, folding ability, and the smooth look rich finish.
• 100 lb Uncoated Cover Linen: A thick, durable stock made with 30% recycled material. It enhances the appearance of your postcard with its unique feel and texture.
