Design a Bookmark That Matches the Book
The best book bookmarks feel like they belong to the story. Start with what readers already love: the cover, the main character or the plot, and let Akuafoil highlight that focus.
- Complement the cover. Pull the cover's colors, title font and key image onto the bookmark, then foil one signature element, like the crown, the sword, the title or the sky, so it shines the way the cover does on a shelf.
- Spotlight the main character. A full-length portrait of the hero or heroine in full color, over a metallic background in their signature color. As the bookmark moves, light sweeps across the foil and the character seems to step forward.

Larger Runs, More Designs and Custom Options
The calculator goes from 500 to 5,000 bookmarks, but that isn't our limit. For larger quantities, contact us for a custom quote. Need lots of designs? Print as many as you need: designs are grouped in sets of up to 15 so we can pass on group shipping savings, and you can simply add another group (15 + 15 + 3 for 33 designs, for example). The Card Stock
Akuafoil bookmarks print on premium 16 pt C2S cardstock, thick enough to hold a page without bending. Choose no coating, UV on the front or both sides, or Spot UV on the front, back or both. Add the optional 1/8" hole for a tassel or ribbon.
About the Akuafoil Finish
Silver foil goes only where you want shine, and full color prints on top, turning those colors metallic. Pastels and light tones shine brightest.

Design Tips
- Leave faces in full color. Foil the costume, background or effects, and keep eyes and skin tones natural.
- Keep foil away from the hole if you're adding a tassel.
- Small text in standard ink: quotes, credits and URLs stay crisp and readable.
