What is Akuafoil Printing?

A special processed foil system, Akuafoil Printing is also called Aquafoil, Akuafoil, Aqua Foil, multi-foil, multifoil, multi foil colors, Gradient foil, inline foil, metallic foil, or multiple colors in foil. It is used to create thick and durable products that stand out. First, a silver base foil is applied to specified areas and then a four color printing process is used over it. It allows you to turn CMYK colors into multi-colored foils that provide a true competitive advantage with its sparkling foil finish and shimmer. What are some points to keep in mind when using Akuafoil for printing Stickers?

Since Akuafoil Printing is a special element to be added to your design there are certain things to remember before you get the Akuafoil Metallic Stickers printed.

• Ensure that the mask file and the CMYK print file are aligned properly so there is no disparity in printing.
• Akuafoil shows best on lighter colors as darker CMYK colors end up dimming the Akuafoil look.
• Avoid using very delicate, cursive, or small text and artwork with Akuafoil. San Serif with fonts above 12 points provides the best results.
• If you want only silver Akuafoil to be printed, leave at least 15% K in the desired white area. White on the CMYK file that is represented as 100% K on the Akuafoil file will be printed as plain silver Akuafoil.
